Our Expertise
We are enthusiastic researchers who love to engage with people and get to the heart of what they really think and feel. We are also experienced analysts so we can make sense of all that we have heard and seen and provide actionable information and recommendations. We can undertake large national projects, smaller scale research or just a 'one off' focus group. Health and Social CareThis is a particular area of expertise for us. We have worked with Regulatory bodies, Professional bodies, PCT’s, NHS Trusts, Cancer Charities and patient groups.
We have looked at nursing and midwifery policy, disability services, staff training needs, teenage pregnancy, sexual health, patient medicines information, palliative care support, cancer information needs, exercise perception, the menopause, patient education programmes and more.. Education Our team includes researchers with academic research backgrounds, ensuring the rigour of research that is often demanded by the education sector. We have worked with Universities to help support academic research work, as well as independently evaluating the impact of courses and mentoring schemes. Charity and Voluntary sectors
Our work in this sector includes engaging with volunteers and staff, assessing members needs, evaluating volunteer training courses, understanding the impact of change on volunteers, gaining feedback on service development and understanding public perceptions. Local AuthorityWe work with Local Authorities to help in service development and planning and to help consult with local residents and staff. Examples of our work includes assessments of local needs and services and staff consultations on key initiatives. This has included Childcare Sufficiency consultations, One Children’s workforce workshops with staff, EYPs networks, website development, local service use and employee consultation. Employee ConsultationHaving an independent organisation consulting with employees can help gain some valuable insights into staff motivations and experiences. We have undertaken groups with staff to understand the meaning behind the staff satisfaction survey, assess training needs, evaluate training courses and help organisations better understand their staff. Consumer FeedbackPossibly the broadest category which includes research with current and potential customers looking at brand development, new ideas and new products. The range of topics we have researched includes a very mixed bag, including: Funerals, cars, stationary, electricity, gas, bricks, financial materials, arts and classical music, raffle tickets...
We also do lots of ad hoc stuff that perhaps doesn’t fit nicely into a particularly category. If you have a project that doesn’t fit, please don’t be put off, chances are we can help.
